Canada has issued 150 invitations to apply for permanent residence in its latest Express Entry draw for transport occupations, held on October 28, 2026.
According to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 477. The draw took place at 10:34:14 UTC.
Candidates needed to rank within the top 150 to receive an invitation. The tie-breaking rule was set for June 4, 2026, at 21:48:22 UTC, meaning candidates with the same CRS score were selected based on when they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
Previous Express Entry Draws in October 2026
Canada has held several Express Entry draws this month, targeting candidates through different immigration categories.

What This Means for Candidates
The latest transport occupations draw provides another opportunity for eligible candidates in the sector to pursue Canadian permanent residence. Meanwhile, the October draws show that IRCC continues to invite candidates through a range of categories, including French-language proficiency, Canadian work experience, provincial nominations and skilled trades.
Candidates who did not receive an invitation can review their CRS scores, check their eligibility for category-based draws and explore ways to strengthen their Express Entry profiles.
