Alberta Issues New AAIP Draw Inviting Candidates Across Key Streams
Alberta has conducted multiple draws under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) in March 2026, inviting candidates across various streams and priority pathways.
The latest draws targeted key sectors such as healthcare, construction, manufacturing, rural communities, and law enforcement, reflecting Alberta’s focus on addressing labour shortages and supporting economic growth.
Under the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway draw held on March 27, candidates with a minimum score of 46 were invited, with fewer than 10 invitations issued.
A day earlier, on March 26, the Rural Renewal Stream invited 60 candidates with a minimum score of 50, continuing efforts to attract newcomers to smaller communities across the province.
On March 24, the Dedicated Health Care Pathway (non-Express Entry) issued 102 invitations to candidates with a minimum score of 54, highlighting ongoing demand in the healthcare sector.
Earlier draws included:
- March 19: Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Construction), with 109 invitations issued and a minimum score of 59
- March 17: Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Manufacturing), with 27 invitations issued and a minimum score of 50
These draws demonstrate Alberta’s targeted approach to immigration, prioritizing candidates who can fill critical workforce gaps in high-demand industries.
The AAIP continues to play a key role in supporting Alberta’s labour market needs by selecting skilled workers aligned with the province’s economic priorities.
