Canadian passport fees are increasing on March 31, 2026 for the first time since 2013. IRCC is using the 2.7 per cent benchmark from April 2024.
Adult 5-year passport:
$120 → $123.24
Adult 10-year passport:
$160 → $164.32
10-year passport (Canadians abroad):
$260 → $267.02
Fees will now rise every year with inflation. And a broader fee review is underway, so bigger changes could be coming.
